Question of the day: What is one thing you would like for your children/or future children to know,in order for them to be prepared in life?? (Obviously, something that you think is important)

So, I had posted this question of the day on my blog; didn’t receive many answers, but… JazakAllah for the responses. 

InshAllah, I hope to teach a lot to my children; however, one thing I hope my future children understands and practices is:

To please Allah SWT, to please our one and only creator.

I hope for my children in the future (inshAllah)

to seek to satisfy Allah SWT. To know that whatever they plan to do that you only wish to satisfy Allah SWT.

For whatever you do, whatever it is, small or large, keep Allah in mind. Allah is the one we need to please. I think we would be far from these silly insecurities in front of people, and we would divorce ourselves from striving to “perfect”  and change ourselves for the creations. All of it, becomes tiring and pointless.

Pleasing Allah SWT, diminishes all the trivial duniya-related things that we worry about because we’ve come to the realization that people are impossible to satisfy and even when we try to—- it is unsatisfactory and we remain discontent. And, only when we strive to please Allah, we are content and in peace.
